Dr. Steffen Greubel

Dr. Steffen Greubel has been the Chairman of the Management Board of Metro AG since 2021. Prior to this, he spent several years at the Würth Group, most recently serving as a member of the management board. Earlier, he was the Executive Vice President responsible for France, Italy, Spain, and Corporate Development. Before joining the Würth Group, Dr. Greubel was a Partner in McKinsey’s European Retail and Consumer Goods practice.Dr. Greubel holds a PhD from Otto von Guericke University, Magdeburg (Dr. rer. pol.).
