Christopher Delbrück has served as Chief Financial Officer of Uniper since 2016. Prior to this role, he was Chief Executive Officer of E.ON Global Commodities (EGC) from October 2013. Under his leadership, EGC became one of the leading participants in international wholesale energy markets, overseeing the optimization of one of Europe’s most extensive and diverse power and gas portfolios, and pursuing value creation opportunities in global energy commodity markets.
With over two decades of experience in the energy sector, Mr. Delbrück has held several senior management roles within the E.ON Group, including CFO of E.ON Global Commodities in Düsseldorf, CFO of E.ON Sweden in Malmö, Managing Director of Business Development for E.ON Sweden, and Vice President of Corporate Development for Central Europe and European Gas at E.ON AG in Düsseldorf.
Before joining the E.ON Group, he held various management positions, including with The Boston Consulting Group in Hamburg, where he focused on energy-related projects.
Mr. Delbrück holds a Master in Public Administration from the Harvard Kennedy School, where he was a McCloy Scholar. He also earned a degree in Economics from the University of Kiel and holds a BA from Heidelberg University.
