Dr. Michael Müller

Dr. Müller was appointed Chief Financial Officer of RWE AG, effective May 2021.
Dr. Müller joined RWE Power AG in Essen in 2005 and has since held a series of leadership positions, including Technical Project Director and Head of Procurement for Major Projects. He later took on roles such as Head of Asset Management and Program Director for the restructuring initiative “Neo” at RWE Generation SE.
From 2014 to 2016, Dr. Müller served as Head of Group Controlling at RWE AG. Following this, he became a Member of the Management Board and Chief Financial Officer at RWE Supply & Trading GmbH in Essen, a role Dr. Müller held from September 2016 to April 2021.
Dr. Müller holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from RWTH Aachen University.
