
Ihsan Erbil Bayçöl
CEO
Ihsan Erbil Bayçöl holds an MBA from Sabancı University, a BSc in Civil Engineering from Boğaziçi University, and has pursued graduate studies in Organizational Psychology at Istanbul Bilgi University. His academic background is further enriched by advanced executive programs in Corporate Finance, Valuation, and C-level Leadership Development.
Bayçöl currently serves as CEO of Enerjisa Üretim, Türkiye’s largest private energy producer, a role he has held since 2020. With deep expertise in the energy sector and corporate and digital transformation, he has been instrumental in driving the company’s expansion into Southeastern Europe, securing critical investments in renewable energy, and launching innovative digital business models—positioning Enerjisa Üretim as a sector leader in sustainability and next-generation green solutions.
Previously, from 2018 to 2019, Bayçöl served as Deputy General Manager at Enerjisa Üretim, where he led transformative initiatives across thermal assets and IT. His leadership focused on managing a diversified asset base while spearheading operational, organizational, and cultural renewal.
From 2008 to 2018, as Director of Strategy & Business Development, Bayçöl played a pivotal role in Enerjisa’s strategic evolution. He led the company’s demerger and IPO process, oversaw acquisitions exceeding USD 5 billion, and drove the development of major power plant projects.
Bayçöl is also a Board Member of YASED, the International Investors Association.
